Pablo: Tell us about you, how did you start in this sport? Cuéntanos, ¿cómo empezaste en este deporte?
Charlotte: I use to windsurf , and when the wind was not enough I was looking some guys and one girl ( Anne Laure Pegon) kiting, so I decided to try and then after a week in a school I sale all my windsurf equipment for a kite! Solía hacer windsurf así que cuando no había el suficiente viento algunos chavales y una chica, Anne Laure Pegon practicaban kite, así que decidí intentarlo. Después de una semana en una escuela vendí todo el equipo de windsurf para comprarme una cometa! Pablo: Tell me about competition. What championships are you riding? And best positions? Háblame de la competición. ¿Qué campeonato estás corriendo? ¿cuál es tu mejor posición? Charlotte: I’m riding the Speed World cup. My best position is the Kite speed World Champion title Estoy corriendo la Copa del Mundo de Velocidad. Mi mejor posición es el título de campeona de mundo.
Pablo: Tell me something special about your style when you go on the board. Dime algo especial de tu estilo cuando vas subida en una tabla.
Charlotte: Rock and rolls style
El estilo… Rock & Roll!! Pablo: Which measures of kites you keep in your car, and how many of those kites do you usually use? ¿Qué medidas de cometas guardas en tu coche y cuántas de ellas usas normalmente?
Charlotte: I usually have all my kites from 4 to 12sqm in my car because the wind can often change quickly in my region. But the kites that I use the most is 8, 9 and 10 sqm. Normalmente tengo todas las medidas de la 4 a la 12 en el coche porque el viento cambia a menudo en mi Región. Pero las que más uso son la 8, la 9 y la 10.
Pablo: And how many boards, and measures?
¿Y cuántas tablas y medidas?
Charlotte: Depends ….sometimes 1 sometimes 3 or 4 , actually I have a Trax 134*39, an Acid with bindings in 130*39 , my speed board and a sur... Depende…, algunas veces una, otras tres o cuatro. Actualmente tengo la Trax 1,34 x 39 y una Acid con sujeciones en 1,30 x 39. Mi tabla de velocidad y la de surf...
Pablo: In your opinion, C´s, hybrids or bows? En tu opinión, C, híbrida o bows?

Pablo: ha ha ha! Which are your plans for this 2010 season?
Ja ja ja, Cuáles son tus planes para el 2010?
Charlotte: Pass a Back mobe and get the Word Champion title and the Speed record Conseguir el Back mobe, el Campeonato del Mundo y el record de velocidad.
Pablo: Which is your favourite beach-spot? ¿Cuál es tu spot favorito?
Charlotte: South beach Groland, near the pier.

Pablo: haha, Tell me about your travels. Which one of all is the one you prefer? Jaja, Háblame de tus viajes. ¿cuál de ellos es el que prefieres?
Charlotte: I loved all my travels. Love to discover new places… Adoro todos mis viajes. Me encanta descubrir nuevos lugares…
Pablo: Describe a perfect day for you. Describe el día perfecto para tí.
Charlotte: 20 knots, the crew, a good trick, and after the session Blade’s barbecue. Veinte nudos, la peña, un buen truco y después de la jornada una barbacoa vampiresca.
Pablo: Something you hate in Kiteboarding. Algo que odies del kite.
Charlotte: No wind days Los dias sin viento. Pablo: Which has been your worst moment in your sportive career? ¿Cuál ha sido el peor momento en tu carrera deportiva?
Charlotte: I think like all riders the worst moment is when we cannot kite anymore because of an injury….last injury was my finger broken , one month without riding!
Pienso que el peor momento de cualquier Rider es cuando no puede hacer kite debido a una lesión… mi última fue mi dedo roto, un mes sin kite!
Pablo: As well of Kiteboarding, which other things you do?
Además del kiteboarding, ¿qué otras cosas haces?
Charlotte: patchwork and punk rock and lots of sports Parches y punk rock, y muchos deportes Pablo: How do you see the Kiteboarding in your country, France? ¿Cómo ves el kiteboarding en tu país, Francia?
Charlotte: More and more Kiteboarders and also more and more girls on the water so that’s really cool Más y más kitebarders y más y mas chicas en el agua. Es realmente estupendo!
Pablo: What do you think about the Spanish level?
¿Qué piensas del nivel español?
Charlotte: The Spanish level is very impressive, Gisela , Angela, Cesar , Silvester …lots of the best riders are Spanish! I think the reason is because you have great spot :)
Es impresionante. Gisela, Ángela, Cesar , Silvester… ¡muchos de los mejores son españoles! Pienso que la razón es porque tenéis un gran spot :)
Pablo: What do you do during the winter, between two seasons? ¿Qué haces en invierno, entre dos temporadas?
Charlotte: snowboarding and travelling in windy and warm places
